With the aim of introducing more and more of our visitors to the fantastic sport of climbing, The Outdoors Show 2012 will have a climbing offering like never before.

    The Avis Climbing Village includes:

Crazy Climb brought to you by Beacon Walls

The different faces will include a perspex wall for face to face climbing, a climb in the dark, a leap of faith and a rotating holds challenge.

Climbing Walls in association with the National Indoor Climbing Achievment Scheme

For many, the climbing wall is their first introduction to the absorbing world of climbing. The National Indoor Climbing Achievement Scheme provides the structure and motivation for new climbers to develop their skills in order to help them get the most out of their climbing as well as having their acievements recognised.

You will be able to pre book a session with our NICAS instructors to come away from the show with the first part of your qualification.

Ice Climbing brought to you by DMM

DMM's Ice Climbing wall is always an extremely popular feature of The Outdoors Show. The Ice wall will be returning in 2012 offering you a chance to conquer the basic techniques needed in this high adrenaline sport.

Climbing Masterclasses brought to you by DMM

You don't have to be a world class athlete to benefit from expert tuition. Anyone can improve their training, technique and performance with a little help. Performance masterclasses are bookable with DMM sponsored athletes Libby Peter and Lucy Creamer via the DMM website.
