Kym McConnell

Kym McConnell has competed in extreme events for nearly 20 years.

He has run an endurance foot race on every continent, including ultra-distance races in the Himalayas, Amazon, Antarctica, Arctic and the Sahara. These extreme runs include the highest, lowest, most southerly, most northerly, hottest and coldest, footraces on the planet.

Kym has raced in various international multi-disciplinary competitions and is a five-time finisher of the World Multisport Championships. He has cycled over 2000km across Tibet and finished 3rd in the first ever mountain bike race staged at the North Pole.

Kym has written two books covering his adventures - 'Extreme Running' & 'Tibet Overland'
